We can’t wait to meet you! At Mad Dog Training Co., we offer a variety of training options tailored to meet every dog's and handler's unique needs. Training is completed in your home (or virtually), with options to meet in a public space when your dog is ready. Our one-on-one training programs are individualized to ensure the best results for you and your dog. We’re here to provide you with the knowledge and skills needed to maintain training, even after your program is complete. Depending on your choice, the level of trainer involvement varies, from hands-on guidance to more self-directed program options, giving you flexibility based on what best fits your lifestyle and training goals.

In-Home Consultation
During the consultation, we’ll assess your dog’s behavior and discuss your training goals along with realistic expectations. This one-on-one visit gives us a clear understanding of you and your dog’s needs, so we can recommend a program that will best meet your needs. Each in-home consultation begins with a 20 minute virtual meeting where we’ll discuss how to prepare for our in-home and address any pressing issues or concerns.
If you’re not sure where to begin, this is a great place to start so we can connect with an in-depth meeting before booking a program.

One-on-One Lessons
Our One-on-One Lessons are the perfect place to start if you’re new to training or just looking to build some solid foundations with your pup. These five 60-minute in-home sessions are tailored to you and your dog, giving us the chance to work together to achieve your training goals.
Lessons are a great starting point whether you’re raising a new puppy or introducing a new rescue to the home, brushing up on manners, or laying the groundwork for a more in-depth program like our Homeschool program You’ll get personalized coaching, clear guidance, and practical skills you can put to use right away at home.
It’s all about setting you and your pup up for long-term success, with each lesson building off the last.

Puppy Class
Open to puppies ages 10 weeks to 6 months, puppy class is all about building strong foundations, with a focus on communication, engagement, play, and confidence. While there’s no off-leash play, your pup will gain valuable exposure to new places, sounds, people, and dogs in a safe, neutral setting, a key part of healthy socialization. Classes are kept small (maximum of 6 puppies), held on leash, and run for 60 minutes for 5 consecutive weeks. Each series begins with a virtual orientation to start.

Homeschool
Our Homeschool Program is perfect if you’re looking for extra trainer involvement- while still keeping training in the comfort of your own home. Your pup will get plenty of one-on-one time with us each week on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and we keep you in the loop with a hands-on lesson on Friday or Saturday. Our 3-week program is a great way to build and solidify the basics, while the 5-week option gives us extra time to grow those skills and practice them in new environments with added distractions. All dogs enrolling in home school programs must first begin with an in-home consultation which is included in your program cost. If you book an in-home consultation to start and decide the homeschool program is the right fit, the consultation cost will be deducted from your total program cost upon booking. You will receive a link to schedule in your confirmation email after booking!
We’ve got a couple options to fit your goals and schedule:
Half Day (9 AM–12 PM or 1 PM–4 PM)
Perfect if you’re just starting your training and looking to establish clear communication and foundations, fine tuning old skills, or tackling patterned unwanted behaviors.
Full Day (10 AM–3 PM)
Great for brand new puppies learning potty and crate training, rescue dogs settling into a fresh start, or pups working through bigger behavioral challenges.
Think of it as school for your dog- with daily photo and video updates and skills to practice with your dog to include you as part of the team every step of the way!
